1. What is usually called REALITY is seen by philosophy as no more than an idle semblance (外貌, 外觀 ) which has NO reality in and for itself.
2. Philosophy, therefore, for it TRANSFIGURES (// 使變形; 使改觀, change) reality with all its apparent injustices and RECONCILES it with the rational; it shows that it is based upon the Idea itself, and that reason is fulfilled in it.
