German : correlative conjunctions
There is a class of correlative conjunctions which go in pairs, like " neither . . . nor " in English. 6
1. entweder...oder ( either...or)
2. je ...je/desto/um so ( the more... the more)
3. nicht nur...sondern auch ( not only ... but also )
4. so...so ( as...as)
5.weder...noch (neither ... nor)
6. zwar...aber/doch ( indeed ...but)
