a). Spirit is immersed in corporeality qua soul, and the soul is the animating principle of the body.

b). Spirit is ACTIVITY in the sense. . . . But for spirit to be active implies that it expresses itself.

c). Spirit is meant to be FREE and to be what it is through itself.
